Guess What?? Our own Malaysian Hockey team is coming to Adelaide in a two-test series against the Kookaburras.
The Kookaburras will play against Malaysia for the first time in adelaide since 2002 at the Distinctive Homes Arena on the 25-26th of July.

The Purpose

The decision to host this two test series in Adelaide reinforces Hockey Australia’s objective to increase hockey’s scope throughout Australia and by August either the Kookaburras or Hockeyroos will have played in Adelaide, Perth, Bunbury, Busselton, Canberra and Sydney in 2009.

The two test series will continue the Kookaburras’ preparation for the ABN AMRO Hockey Champions Trophy - Men 2009 tournament in Melbourne from November 28 - December 6.

On the other hand, this game also might be a good chance for the Malaysia’s preparation on the 3 Nation/ 4 Team series in Canberra.
