BACKGROUND

MASCA SA or Malaysian Student’s Council, South Australia chapter is an official student body for all the Malaysian students in South Australia. We are affiliated with and supported by Education Malaysia Australia, Sydney (EMAS). MASCA SA is a; for student, by student organization. We primarily operate around Adelaide CBD but will accommodate to the needs of all Malaysian students throughout South Australia.

We are proactive in organizing cultural events, gatherings and exciting activities in order to facilitate our members’ academic, spiritual, mental and physical needs. Among them would be Malaysian Night, Malaysia Carnival, Beach Day, Career Day and Hari Raya Open Day.

MASCA SA also helps out students, especially new students to settle down and solve any issues that come along. We guide them whenever possible, to familiarize themselves to the new surrounding. Besides that, we also collaborate with other student organizations to organize activities as these would then allow members to build connections and widen their social circle.

• To facilitate the interaction and unification of various Malaysian student bodies and their members in South Australia
• To develop and equip the future leaders of Malaysia with necessary skills
